The Mexico Food Pantry is excited to announce that we will be offering locally grown produce to our clients this summer.
Fruits and vegetables are an important component of a nutritious diet, but fresh produce can be tough to come by for families struggling to pay the bills.
Fortunately, the food pantry is working with Grindstone Farm,
at 780 County Route 28, in Pulaski, to bring fresh, locally grown produce to our clients.
Each week during the summer through August we will offer an assortment of produce based on what is growing and in-season.
Food pantry clients can stop by on Wednesdays during normal pantry hours to take advantage of this service.
